These terms of service apply when you use the Y2K Sells online store at y2ksells.com and to every order you place. Please read them, together with our Refund policy, Shipping policy and Privacy policy, before you buy. By placing an order, you agree to these terms. Nothing in them affects your legal rights as a consumer, and if anything here conflicts with the law, the law applies.
1. Who we are
The Y2K Sells store is run by Vinted Resells Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 16344052. Our registered office is 66 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NA, United Kingdom, and our VAT number is GB516424310. You can contact us by email at support@y2ksells.com.
2. Definitions
- we, us and our mean Vinted Resells Ltd;
- you and your mean the person using our site or placing an order;
- site means the Y2K Sells online store;
- supplier packs means the supplier lists and bundles we sell, which we send you by email and as links;
- guides means the Full Reselling Guide and any other guide we sell, which we also send by email and as a link;
- Lifetime Support Access means our paid support service by email;
- working day means Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays in England and Wales.
We sell to consumers, and we treat everyone who buys from us as a consumer under UK law, even if you plan to use our products to start reselling. These terms, with our Refund policy and Shipping policy, make up the contract between you and us. Each product you buy is a separate contract, even if you buy several in one order.
3. Who can buy
You must be 18 or over to place an order with us, and you must give accurate and complete details when you order.
4. Our products
We sell supplier packs and guides, which we send by email, and Lifetime Support Access, a paid support service: help from our team by email with your supplier packs and your reselling questions. Help with your order itself is included with every order at no extra cost. Lifetime Support Access lasts for as long as we offer paid support; if we decide to stop offering it, we will tell you by email and give you reasonable notice first.
4a. Supplier packs and the suppliers in them
A supplier pack is an information product. It names third-party clothing suppliers and gives their contact and ordering details. It is not a promise that any supplier will sell to you, offer any price or have any stock.
The suppliers in our packs are independent businesses. We do not own, run or control them, we do not act for them, and being listed is not an endorsement. Their stock, prices, minimum orders, delivery, availability and terms are their own and can change at any time. Any contract you make with a supplier is between you and that supplier, and you deal with them at your own risk. Please do your own checks before you pay anyone or place an order.
We compile each pack from the information available to us at the time. Because supplier details can change, a supplier who later changes, closes or stops replying does not by itself mean a pack was not as described. If you think a detail was wrong when we supplied the pack, tell us and we will look into it.
5. No promise of sales or results
We do not promise that you will make any sales or achieve any particular financial result. Reselling carries risk: you could sell nothing and lose what you spend on stock. Results vary and depend on you and on things we do not control, including your effort, the items you choose, the prices you set, demand, the suppliers you deal with and the rules of the platforms you use.
6. Orders and payment
When you place an order, you are offering to buy. We accept your order, and our contract begins, when we send you the email with your supplier packs.
We may decline an order, for example if the price shown was an obvious mistake that you could reasonably have recognised, or if we reasonably suspect fraud or the unauthorised use of a payment method. If we do, we will tell you and refund anything you have paid. If we cancel an order for one of these reasons after sending your packs, you must delete them.
You pay at checkout using the payment methods shown. Payments are taken by Whop, which acts as the merchant of record for the payment, so Whop's own buyer terms also apply to the payment. Your bank statement shows a WHOP* reference. Whop charges in the currency of your order and collects any VAT due on it. When you pay, Whop keeps your card or wallet details securely so that you can add an offer straight after checkout in one tap; we never see those details, and you are only charged again if you accept an offer. You must be allowed to use the payment method you choose.
To order, add products to your cart, enter your details at checkout and pay. The line under the pay button tells you what you agree to and asks for your supplier packs to be sent straight away. You can correct mistakes in your cart or your details before you pay. We keep a record of your order, and you can ask us for a copy. These terms are available in English.
7. Prices and VAT
All prices are shown on the Site in pounds sterling (GBP) and, where applicable, include VAT at the prevailing rate. We show the total price, including any VAT added for your country, at checkout before you pay. We may change our prices, but a change never affects an order you have already placed. If you pay with a card or account in another currency, your bank may convert the amount and charge a fee.
8. Delivery
We send supplier packs and guides to the email address you give at checkout, as links, with no delivery charge, straight after payment. Your links also show on the page you see after paying. If they have not arrived, email us and we resend them within 24 hours, as our Refund policy explains. To use them you need an internet connection and a device that can open the links we send.
9. Cancellation and refunds
Our Refund policy forms part of these terms. In summary: you ask us to send your supplier packs and guides straight away, and once supply begins you can no longer cancel them, but we resend anything that has not arrived and fix or refund anything faulty. You can cancel Lifetime Support Access within 14 days, starting the day after your order, and we refund you in full. Your legal rights for faulty or not as described products always apply.
10. Your licence to use our packs
When you buy a supplier pack or a guide, we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it for your own purposes. You may use the information in it to contact suppliers, buy stock and resell clothing. The content itself still belongs to us or our licensors.
You must not share, copy, forward, post, sell, resell, publish or otherwise distribute any pack, or any part of it, to anyone else, whether for free or for payment. This includes sharing it in groups, communities or marketplaces and sharing screenshots of it. You must not use our packs to create a competing product or service.
If you seriously or repeatedly break this licence, we may end your access to that content and take legal action to protect our rights. This does not affect your rights if the content was faulty or not as described. Please save a copy of your packs when you receive them.
11. Offers and the offer after checkout
Multi-buy discounts are shown on our store, and discounts cannot be combined: the best one for each item applies. Straight after checkout we may offer you another product at a one-off price. You only buy it if you choose to, and it is a separate purchase with its own email.
12. Platform and brand non-affiliation
Y2K Sells and Vinted Resells Ltd are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Vinted, Depop, eBay or any brand named on the site. Brand and platform names are used only to describe what a pack covers and belong to their owners.
13. Intellectual property
The content of our site and products, including our packs, text, images, page design and the way our packs are selected, compiled and arranged, is owned by us or licensed to us. Apart from the licence in section 10, these terms do not give you any rights in it.
14. Using the site
You must use our site lawfully. You must not try to gain unauthorised access to the site, its systems or other customers' data, interfere with how it works or place false or fraudulent orders. We try to keep the site available, but we cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or free from errors.
15. Honest information
We do not write, buy or publish fake customer reviews. We show the total price before you pay, and we describe our products as accurately as we can. If you see something on our site that you think is misleading, please email us.
16. Our liability to you
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, for breach of your legal rights as a consumer, including your right to digital content that is of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.
If we break these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result. If digital content we supply damages a device or content that belongs to you, because we did not use reasonable care and skill, we will either repair the damage or pay you compensation. We are not responsible for the acts of independent third parties, such as the suppliers in our packs or selling platforms, unless our breach of these terms caused the loss.
17. Payment disputes
If you have a problem with an order, please contact us first so we can fix it quickly. This does not limit your right to contact your bank or card provider. We keep a record of every order, including when we sent your packs and the address we sent them to. If a payment is disputed, we share the relevant order and support records with the bank or payment provider so that it can decide the dispute.
18. Complaints
To make a complaint, email support@y2ksells.com with your order number and what went wrong. We aim to reply within 2 working days. If we cannot settle your complaint, you can get free, independent advice from Citizens Advice at citizensadvice.org.uk, and you keep your right to go to court.
19. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one in force when you placed it. We will post any new version on our site with a new last updated date.
20. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and you can bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your own courts. If you live outside the UK, this choice of law does not take away any protection you have under the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live.
21. General
If a court decides that part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. Nobody other than you and us has any right to enforce these terms. You may not transfer your rights under these terms to anyone else without our written agreement, except where the law gives you that right.
